Carboy:  Get up and step away from the couch.

Me -> gets up and takes 2 steps

Carboy:  Whatever you do, don’t turn around. Just tell me about your Manu marker.

Me: Do you want to touch it?

Carboy: Not really, the glow has sort of gone out of it.

Me: Not for me. I still look at it all the time.

Carboy -> throwing away some crumpled up newspaper: Okay, you may resume.

Me:  Was it a very big bug?

Carboy: No. There was no bug.

Me: Are you very sure it’s dead?

Carboy: Very dead.

Me: Thank you. You’re a good man.

Carboy: I know.
