While in Japan, we have been squished into trains with a million billion other people in the City, we have been down ice caves, we have stood in temples, palaces, shrines, art galleries, and car customizing shops; we have climbed a million billion stairs to temples built close to the heavens and listened in awe while a single Buddhist monk chanted his prayers, and we have stood on the edge of the world, Mt. Fuji, watching the sun set with only the sound of the wind and the buzzing of summer beetles. Photos cannot do justice to this wonderful place but I share them with you and hope they reveal just the tiniest bit of the beauty that is Japan.
